Spring Wedding Pro Tips + Tricks | Walters Wedding Estates

Springtime is here which means it’s officially wedding season in Texas. We wanted to write a little blog with a few pro tips to get you through the gorgeous but unpredictable Texas Springtime!

Tip #1: Have a rain plan. All of our venues and venue coordinators are equipped to put a rain plan in place – the Texas weather is always unpredictable and the rain may pass in time for your original plan but it’s always worth it to be prepared!

Tip #2: If you can’t stop thinking about a venue, book it. Springtime brings engagements as much as it brings weddings and dates tend to go quickly during this season!

Tip #3: Be conscious of Spring Holidays, like Spring Break, Mothers Day, Memorial Day that might affect your guests’ attendance to your special day.

Tip #4: Trust in your florist – April Showers Bring May Flowers and this means that flowers are going to be plentiful. Pinterest is great but your florist is the expert and will be able to create the perfect arrangement with flowers that are in season and within your budget!

Tip #5: Savings! Our venues, in particular, offer discounts for certain days of the week in Spring to help ease with the wedding budget! Several of our venues are running promotions for Fridays and Sundays – follow along on our social media (Facebook and Instagram) for more information or check out our promotions page on our website to see new additions!
